On November 21, Caliente employees celebrated an early Thanksgiving together with a company ‘Worksgiving’ breakfast, taking time out to give thanks by creating a creative and collaborative tree of thanks.
The tree was created with leaves made from the handwritten notes of employees that wanted to express a few words of appreciation for the things they are grateful for in their lives and the added benefits they enjoy at work.
In addition to family, friends and good health, employees were grateful for the support of their coworkers, fun and flexible work-life balance and a kid friendly workplace. A popular theme was ‘Dog Fridays’, where employees are invited to bring their fur-babies in to work for the day!
Caliente plans to make ‘Worksgiving’ an annual event.
