Estrada Park Grand Re-opening April 6

Caliente is excited to join the City of Tempe in celebrating the grand re-opening of Estrada Park in South Tempe. The opening is this Saturday, April 6 from 9:00am to 10:30am. Congrats to our amazing Caliente team: Jeff Schaffer, Dave Eatinger, Dean Read and Jackie Lewis on this great project!

The 8- acre park renovation included: preservation of existing trees and other landscape plants as well as installation of 76 new trees, 110 new shrubs, new drywells, 5 acres of sod and a new walking path. LED lighting was installed for the basketball court, soccer field and walking paths. Caliente coordinated with the City for installation of other park features such as; mosaic panels by artist, Mary Shindel, custom, rubberized play and fitness areas; new basketball court; shade structure, playground and exercise equipment. A state-of-the-art irrigation system with precise seasonal controls will ensure the park remains beautiful year-round.

The park renovation is part of a larger project; construction of the new Fire Medical Rescue Station #7 which Caliente will complete in July.
