CEO, Lorraine Bergman, joined the Arizona Cactus-Pine Council Girls Scouts for the 3rd annual CEO Leadership Workshop this Past Saturday Morning, April 21st, as CEOs and Executive Leaders united to share their experience with the girls. Hoping to empower these young women with some leadership skills the girls can start harnessing today beyond what they have already learned from participating in Girl Scouts and enlightening them to some possible careers pathways available to them as modern-day women.

In this innovative workshop for girls grades 7th through 12th at the Bob & Renee Parsons Leadership Center for Girls and Women at Camp South Mountain, they had a chance to be heard about what is on their minds’ as young women around the topic of leadership. Together, the CEOs and girls created a fast pitch on an innovate solution to the question: How will YOU make the world a better place?

Coming up with inspiring relevant societal topics of things that were on their minds—from seizure prevention to child hunger and homelessness, animal care to educational funding, recycling to the opioid epidemic and the many other things, it’s was clear that these girls want to be at the forefront of making the world a better place.
